Commercial Burglary & Stolen Vehicle
Location: 100 block of Rollins Road, Millbrae
Type of Crime: 460(b)PC – Commercial Burglary, 10851(a)VC – Stolen Vehicle, 496(D)PC – Possession of Stolen Property
Suspect: Chris Phuc Nguyen, 34-year-old Santa Clara resident
Summary: Millbrae, CA – On January 14, 2024 at approximately 11:13 pm, San Mateo County Sheriff’s Deputies received information through Flock cameras of a possible stolen vehicle reported around East Millbrae Avenue and Rollins Road. Deputies quickly responded, identified the vehicle, and confirmed it was taken during a window smash commercial burglary earlier. Deputies were able to safely detain a lone male driver. During their subsequent investigation, Deputies developed further evidence to connect Chris Nguyen (09/21/89) to the theft of the van and was caught several miles north in Millbrae. Nguyen was interviewed, arrested, and processed at Maguire Correctional Facility.
