San Mateo County Camera Registry Program

The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is working with residents and businesses in San Mateo County to combat crime by taking part in our Camera Registry program. The Camera Registry Program allows residents and business owners to voluntarily register their video surveillance systems with the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office. This system was created to enhance public safety and utilize technology to help solve crimes. By registering your surveillance system, you can help the Sheriff’s Office identify cameras in an area where a crime occurred, and we can follow-up on potential leads. By registering your camera, you can help deter crime and protect your community, while contributing to the overall crime reduction strategy of the San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office.
