San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office investigating armed robbery

MILLBRAE, Calif. – The San Mateo County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an early morning armed robbery that occurred in a Millbrae neighborhood.

On Monday, February 12 at around 1:30 a.m., deputies responded to the 500 block of Capuchino Ave. on a report of an armed robbery that had just occurred outside of a home.

The victim, who was uninjured in the incident, reportedly was robbed by two suspects with handguns. 

The suspects stole the victim’s personal belongings, before fleeing the area in a gray Honda Accord towards El Camino Real.

The robbery is being investigated as an isolated incident.
